A Little Ruby

Connie Hultquist — Tue, 10/31/2006

This morning I wanted to write but little Baby was cryin' and wanting another bottle. So I held her and sang to her in my bedroom. As I was sitting there on the bed, the Lord told me to write about the vision I had last night of Mary. I saw her come in my front door with a dress on like the dress I had her wear as a little girl. I was very careful in how I dressed her, always in a feminine way. Her hair was curly as it once was. And I asked the Lord what this meant and He said this. The teachings that Mary had when she was little are coming up into her spirit.

Wilderness Women

Connie Hultquist — Fri, 10/06/2006

Dear Mothers,

I am so tired this morning, I would have to dress up just to get shot. The new baby girl who is a one year old is so active. She is a doll baby, though. I can say that. She tries to eat everything. I turned around to look at her and she had a brown crayola hanging out of her mouth like a cigar. I only have her on Wedneday and Thursday. And it's a good thing as I would be dead by now if it was three days a week. Today I have Olivia Rose who is 8 weeks old and she is asleep. I just haven't had any time to write. But today should be an easier day. And tomorrow is Saturday. I love having the children but, boy, have I been busy.

Home Wisdom

Connie Hultquist — Mon, 05/22/2006

Dear Mothers,

This morning I was watching Christian TV. They had a good teaching on wisdom. I think the preacher's name was Keith Moore? It was good and I took notes. Of course, he spoke from the man's point of view. Couldn't ya just see him speaking from the teaching on wise women? If he had of quoted Proverbs 14:1, you would have heard a BOOOM that would have reached clear to the moon this morning.

Ruby

Connie Hultquist — Thu, 02/09/2006

Dear Mothers of the Home,

Last night, as I awoke in the night, I could feel the presence of Wisdom and I call her Ruby. The Wisdom in Proverbs, about the first 8 chapters, speaks of the voice of wisdom. In my heart, I could see the word Ruby made out of grape vines. I sensed the colors of Wisdom. The blues and purples, colors of royalty. With shadows of gold and glistening of silver.

Wisdom

Connie Hultquist — Sun, 10/30/2005

Ya know, the more I go along, the more and more I understand of the wisdom of God. I know my friend Ruth and I used to get sorta put out with Dixie when she would say to us, "Are you into your homemaking?"

We would say later after Dixie left, "Well, yeah, I am into my homemaking. If I wasn't, the house would have fallen in by now." I never could quite figure all that out.

Wisdom

Connie Hultquist — Wed, 10/26/2005

I talked to crazy Annie last night on the phone. Now I am nuts! Naw, we prayed and now "Crazy" is OK and I am, too. I told Annie I felt like all my hens were out of the hen-house, and the lady in charge is off her rocker, and now what? Well, ya know what? Our country, I think, is in a mourning and we feel it. Many people are depressed because of the hurricanes. There is fear out there because I think we all wonder, "Oh, what next?" But it is in times like these that the Lord's compassion does bring the wisdom of God.

Wisdom

Connie Hultquist — Sun, 10/16/2005

Well, Dot, I know I said I would write on wisdom today. Well, I almost need a vision to do that ... anybody got any? I have never read anything on the wisdom of the Bible as it pertains to the homemaking spirit. So I have to get it all from the Lord. And, ya know, ya can't very well just turn Him on and off at will. I am hoping, as I write, He will feel sorry for me and give me some wisdom.

Wisdom's Power is Virtue

Connie Hultquist — Fri, 08/19/2005

Virtue lights the power of wisdom. It ignites the fire in the wisdom of God.

Virtue is what causes a woman to be fruitful. Without wisdom, a woman doesn't want to be fruitful. Every wise woman builds her house but the foolish tear it down with her hands.

Virtue heals the mind of the grieved and barren woman.

Virtue is the touch of God for the Godly women of today.
