I wanted to tell you about the book Jimmy and his wife Alecksondra got me for Christmas… it’s so cute, I have a fit every time I look at it. It’s called The Little Big Book for Grandmothers. And there is a series of these Little Big Books. And I want to get the one for mothers, too. Jim gave me a Christmas gift certificate for Barnes and Noble, so as soon as we can, I will go there and get the book for Mothers.

Anyway, the one for Grandmothers is super duper cute. Their website is www.welcomebooks.com. The pictures are so old-fashioned and sweet.

My dream is to write a Happy Housewifery book that looks like these little big books. I love pictures and, to me, pictures are just such a good part of a book. Pictures are worth many words. These books have a lot of pictures. The only problem is that the books are so serious and cute and I am such a cut up. I guess I could try to change my ways. Naw, that won’t work! But, yes, one of these days I would love to write something serious without a joke in it. I am gonna pray about it. So watch out — I am going to attempt to be serious, so, Annie, don’t make me laugh.
